Meet Marva Wills

Marva Wills brings decades of executive leadership, infrastructure experience, and community service to Waller County.

She is currently serving her third term as President of the Waller County Democratic Club, providing executive oversight, managing budgets, leading community engagement, and strengthening civic participation across the county.

As an entrepreneur and general contractor, Marva has overseen property development and rehabilitation projects. She has:

  • Managed contractors and vendors

  • Overseen paving, parking, and infrastructure improvements

  • Ensured compliance with city codes

  • Managed project budgets and timelines

Her work has always required seeing problems firsthand, asking the right questions, and delivering results.

Marva is also an Ordained Elder, serving for 25 years in both rural and urban congregations. She has managed facilities, administered budgets, and created outreach programs that addressed real community needs.

For over 30 years in one major school district, she served as:

  • Educator

  • Guidance and Counseling Coordinator

  • Home School Coordinator

  • Field Service Representative

  • Crisis Intervention Coordinator

She worked closely with students, families, and community partners during times of need — building trust, solving problems, and supporting families.

Marva has traveled extensively abroad, gaining valuable global perspective and cultural understanding. At home, she is proud to be a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Family keeps her grounded in the everyday concerns of Precinct 2 residents.

Marva Wills envisions a Waller County where growth is managed responsibly, infrastructure keeps pace with development, and every resident in Precinct 2 feels heard and represented. Her vision is built on strong financial stewardship, ensuring taxpayer dollars are used wisely to maintain roads, improve drainage, and invest in essential services that strengthen the community. Marva is committed to balanced development that protects rural character while supporting thoughtful growth, including expanding access to youth facilities, senior centers, and healthcare resources.
